  • Ending the Financial Crisis

    The unraveling of global financial markets, currencies, economies, businesses, and potentially a government or two has taken center stage throughout the world. Based on a number of factors, I believe that some time remains before the immediate crisis begins to lift. Yesterday, a friend in Russia and business executive commented that he “hoped” we were halfway through. Perhaps this is optimistic, but I am certainly willing to hope along.

  • MBA Trends: Integrated Distance Learning

    The increase in international demand for an MBA combined with the rise of all things digital has lead to a sharp rise in distance learning based MBA programs. This growth, however, reflects only half of the trend. On the other side, traditional brick and mortar universities are moving to incorporate distance learning courses. These merging aspects lead to a new trend of integrated distance learning—the integration of live, in-group instruction or interaction with a distance learning curriculum.
